Following a successful career as a professional ice skater, farmer’s son Erben Wennemars wanted to give something back to the world in a constructive way. He developed and introduced Erbens Natuurijs, an organic yoghurt-based ice cream which is now available from Albert Heijn supermarkets across the Netherlands. All profits are donated to Jeugdsportfonds (Youth Sports Fund).

No marketing budget was available for this project. However, from the first launch on Erben’s family farm, this ice cream brand received a lot of publicity on TV, in newspapers, magazines and online media, both in the Netherlands and abroad. #erbensnatuurijs was a trending topic on Twitter on the day of the launch.
